Dr. Carrie Schinstock is an Associate Professor in the Division of Nephrology and Hypertension at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN where she is the Medical Director of the Kidney Transplant program and is Chair of the Convergence Committee for 3 Mayo Clinic Kidney Transplant programs in Rochester, Phoenix, and Jacksonville. She also serves as upcoming chair of STAR working group through AST and led the Banff antibody mediated rejection working group. Her clinical and research expertise is in antibody mediated rejection and kidney paired donation. She has expertise in getting patients transplanted with high levels of alloantibody towards their donor including HLA incompatible transplantation and desensitization strategies. She also has interest in therapeutic clinical trials for patients with chronic antibody mediated rejection.
